UNITED FAMILIES PROGRAM
This program keeps families together. Through a partnership with the City of Rome, Exchange Club Family Resource Center, First Baptist Church of Rome, and the Scott Family Fund — managed by the Community Foundation for Greater Rome — United Families participants receive safe housing, property management, financial planning, and wraparound support.
Instead of rent, participants contribute to a personal emergency savings fund, returned in full when they complete the program. In 2025, graduating families left with an average of $3,675 in savings.
UNITED FOR AIDS/HIV SUPPORT
United for HIV/AIDS Support was born from a partnership between United Way FPC and AIDS Resource Council. We work to educate, prevent, and provide wraparound support for individuals and families living with an HIV/AIDS diagnosis — including emergency financial assistance when it's needed most. We're keeping families together, housed, and healthy.
