THE CASE FOR MEDIATION
We envision a community where disputes are resolved through dialogue, understanding, and collaboration rather than litigation or escalation. Our newest pilot program seeks to promote constructive dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts by offering accessible, professional, voluntary mediation services to individuals, families, businesses, and community groups.
Community Mediation Centers change lives by resolving one dispute, one strained relationship at a time. Currently, there are 400+ community mediation programs operating around the country with
many more around the globe. United Way’s Community Mediation Center represents a commitment to FPC to be a resource in times of strife and to Build Bridges Through Mediation.
