WORKFORCE ADVOCACY

Financial stress doesn't stay home when people go to work. United Way FPC's Workforce Advocacy program connects employees in Floyd, Polk & Chattooga Counties with a trained Advocate who works one-on-one to build a personalized stability plan — and stays with them through the process.

From unexpected expenses to housing and transportation challenges, Advocates help employees navigate the barriers that threaten their ability to stay on the job. The result: stronger workforce continuity for employers and greater financial stability for the people who power our regional economy.

Employees can self-refer by calling 211, or employers can connect their team through a confidential workplace partnership. Click below to learn more.

Community Advocacy

Life gets harder when the cost of everything keeps climbing. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or just trying to get ahead, United Way FPC's Community Advocacy program meets you where you are.

A trained Advocate works with you one-on-one to understand your full picture — income, expenses, and the gaps in between — then helps you build a plan and connect to resources that support real, lasting stability.

No referral needed. Call 211 and ask about Community Advocacy, or click below to learn more.
